Property Description

Urban Living UK are please to present this larger than average three bedroom apartment in the Royal Herbert Pavilions over the 2012 Olympics. Sleeps 7.

Offering two bathrooms (1 ensuite) and secure parking. Large living space with high ceilings and sash windows. With onsite leisure facilities including gym, pool, tennis court, steam room, sauna and residents bar. The property has weekly cleaning and wifi.

Royal Herbert Pavilions are superbly located for London 2012 Olympic Events. Within striking distance of Greenwich Royal Park for the Equestrian events and the Royal Artillery Barracks for the shooting events (a 10 minute walk away). A short tube ride will take you directly to the Olympic stadium in Stratford.

Boasting direct bus links outside the property and Woolwich rail and DLR station close by, getting around London and its surrounding areas couldn't be easier. Blackheath and Greenwich village to hand for great shops, bars and eateries. The famous 02 arena with it's restaurants, clubs, live acts and cinema is only a ten minute bus or drive away, and Oxleas woods are on the doorstep.

The Royal Herbert was originally opened as a revolutionary hospital in 1865 with influences from Florence Nightingale and other radical figures looking for medical reform. Queen Victoria herself visited the hospital in 1900. After the hospital became superfluous to military requirements the hospital closed and later in 1990 was bought by a developer who converted this grade two listed building into luxury apartments with private gardens surrounding.
